Games....

My sister came over to visit today. While we were chatting, I realized that Benaiah was being a little too quiet downstairs. Look what I found him doing!

Life with 5

Hadassah is 2 weeks old today. She is sweet and a wonderful baby. Adjusting to 5 has been going pretty good. It is still crazy at our house and now a little bit busier. Here is a little snip-it of our day today....We did a little school this morning, mostly just math, but it felt good to accomplish something. Benaiah found the highlighter pen and decided to color our leather chair and the bouncy chair. Thankfully it came out of both things! We made Kool-aid play dough, which kept the kids busy for about an hour. Except Benaiah, he lost interest after about 15 minutes and had lots of play dough in his hair. I just left it and figured we get it out at bath time tonight. Hadassah woke up and was hungry, so I sat down to feed her. Benaiah seeing that I was busy decided to climb on the counter and get into the cupboard. He got into the butter, emptied the salt shaker and squeezed out lots of honey. He spent a few minutes in his crib for a timeout. That didn't seem to affect him much though, cuz he climbed up again about 5 times. Finally it was nap time! I myself needed a little break so I tried to get a nap in too, but Emma, Noah, and Gideon had lots to talk to mommy about. Emma has a difficult time not talking for more than 2 minutes! Emma also decided to make tapioca pudding (one of my favorites). It turned out great, but she accidentally dropped the bowl on the floor and spilled it all! Thankfully she and Noah did a pretty good job of cleaning it up. Benaiah also wanted to use the potty today. I let him sit there for a bit. I left the bathroom for a minute and the next thing I knew was he had pooped on the living room floor. I am looking forward to bedtime and for Phil to be home!! As I type, Benaiah is dumping water on the kitchen floor! I guess I better go. Our days are crazy, but I wouldn't trade it for anything!
